Sun Dying Project
Now this project was really interesting for me! For a few reasons. The first, I've never used sun dye before, so watching it start to change color just from being in sunshine was super cool! The other reason is that, I was out sick the day we were dying in class, so I had to do it later... But not during class, so I had to leave it out in the sun on Miss Stanley's car! (I did not, unfortunately, get any pictures of that.)
For the project itself, we had to take any little thing we wanted to make patterns on the bag. Where ever we put the objects (mine was a dinosaur, some buttons, and a dyed amethyst slab) the sun didn't shine so it didn't change colors! We then took the fabric... and made a make up bag out of it! I closed it with a pretty pink zipper.
